Judy was born in a small river town in southeastern Ohio. She had a heritage of strong Christian women even though her mother suffered from severe depression and panic attacks. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, she fervently sought after the Lord, but as she approached adulthood, things began to change. While many areas of her life seemed so “together”, she too struggled with depression and poor self esteem. Her need to be loved became an all encompassing desire and the dysfunction in her immediate family left her ill-prepared to make wise choices in her companions. After several years of sin, heartbreak and near emotional collapse, Judy cried out to God and He, of course, was there. The road to emotional health is not an easy one, but God is good and He desires that we live the abundant life. On that road she met and married her husband of 23 years and is currently a wife, step-mother, mother, and grandmother. She has many years experience in training, coaching and management in the corporate environment and has been a teacher, speaker, and director of women’s ministry. She is also a cancer survivor for more than two years. Judy says she’s still on the road to emotional health and spiritual maturity, but there’s joy in the journey and her eye is on the prize.
Dear Judy:
What an inspiration you are! This is such a wonderful idea. You know that I am not very computer savvy, but I will try to keep up and check your blog as often as I can.
Love,
Pam
Judy,
What an honor that you would include me in this personal journey. While I am not a church goer, per se, my faith is strong and beliefs are great. What a wonderful way to learn and hear from others the experiences that they have had and are willing to share. Keep up the good work!
Debi
You are doing a wonderful thing by opening your hearts and creating a medium for others to embrace and share in your mission. I have been rewarded with many opportunities to open my heart and share His love by saying the prayer of Jebez every day (with my own variations). It is an amazing and awakening experience to see how He brings people in need to those that share his heart. I’m sure this means you will be blessed with many opportunities. God Bless and keep me in the distribution.
U guys have the coolest website Ihope you reach the hearts of many women with the word of God. There are many women out there who have lost their way or who are wondering just who they are and I know that the women of the Kardia Ministries team will help all those in need. So you go Kardia Ministries and spread the word of God.
What a blessing this for me. I was looking for a “blog” to help me on my journey, and God has once again heeded my call fulfilled my need. I had no idea it would be from a person I have looked up to and respected. Judy working with you was a blessing for me. You words always seemed to uplift and inspire me. I don’t know if you ever realized how much you touched my life in those “Let’s Coach” sessions. God is Good all the time.
